Project Manager

Vaco Atlanta is seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager to lead complex initiatives within a dynamic SAP S/4HANA environment for a 6 month contract . This is an opportunity for an experienced project leader who enjoys driving cross-functional programs, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery from initiation through completion.

We’re looking for someone whose core career experience is in Program and Project Management—not simply someone who has managed projects as part of a broader functional role. The right candidate will bring strong project leadership skills, SAP 4/4HANA experience, and the ability to provide consistent leadership throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires 3 days in office in Alpharetta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional SAP S/4HANA projects and programs from planning and initiation through successful completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate across business, technology, and functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Establish clear goals, deliverables, ownership, and accountability across project teams.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and executive updates as needed.
• Drive decision-making and resolution of issues that may impact project scope, schedule, or delivery.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities.
• Provide strong leadership and continuity throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated Program and/or Project Management experience in complex environments.
• Proven experience successfully managing SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong project planning, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities.
• Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA, three or more days per week.
